How to save a race search
Keeping a set of Discover filters so you can reapply it in one tap, and what happens to saves when you sign in.

What a saved search is
A saved search is a set of Discover filters kept under a name, so the search you built once comes back in one tap. If you always look for half marathons within 50 miles, that is a saved search.
It is a shortcut, not a subscription. Saving a search does not email you when something matching it appears.
Saving one
Build the search first: set your place, radius, dates, sport, and distance until the results look right. Then use + Save current in the Saved row above the results.
The name is filled in from the filters you used, so a search is recognisable without you typing anything.
Using and removing them
Your saved searches sit as pills in the Saved row. Tap one to reapply it, which takes you back to those results. The × on a pill removes it.
You can keep up to eight. Signed in, saving a ninth is refused until you remove one. Signed out, saving a ninth quietly drops your oldest saved search to make room.
Signing in
Saved searches work either way, but they are stored differently.
Signed out, they live in this browser only. They are not on your phone if you saved them on your laptop, and clearing your browser's site data loses them.
Signed in, they are stored on your account and follow you to any device you sign in on.
These two sets are separate. Searches you saved as a guest stay in that browser and are not copied onto your account when you sign in, so if you want to keep one, sign in and save it again.
If the row says saved searches are unavailable
That is a temporary fault on our side, not something wrong with your account. Your saved searches are not lost. The filters still work normally in the meantime, so you can carry on searching and save again later.
