02
Pick a race

03
Get paid

Cover the event, upload, and your floor is guaranteed — plus 60% of every photo athletes buy. Settled through Stripe.

What you'll earn

Real numbers, by region and event size.

The floor is guaranteed the moment you cover an event and clear the coverage gate. Sales are your 60% share of every digital photo (80% on prints), shown here as a typical event, not a promise. Bigger races and busier regions pay more.

Questions

Before you sign up.

What’s your cut?
You keep 60% of every digital photo sale and 80% of every print sale. The guaranteed floor is on top of that, not deducted from it.
What’s the difference between Pro and Community tier?
Same rate — 60% on digital, 80% on prints — for both. The difference is price band and access: Pro photos sell at $14.99–$39.99 and require identity verification plus liability insurance; Community photos sell at $3.99 with a lightweight signup. Race directors typically accept Pro photographers for paid event assignments; Community is for spectator and family uploads.
When do I get paid?
Through Stripe Connect on a weekly payout schedule. Your floor settles after the event’s coverage window; sales settle as they clear.
Do I own my photos?
Yes. You keep full copyright. Athletes buy a license to their own photos — you license, you don’t assign.
What if no one buys photos?
The guaranteed floor protects you. Cover the event and clear the coverage gate, and you’re paid the floor regardless of sales.
Is this only race photography?
For now, yes — running races first. Cycling, triathlon and club events are on the roadmap.
