Your onboarding checklist
The steps from creating your account to landing your first assignment.
The four steps
When you create your photographer account, a short onboarding walks you through getting ready to shoot and get paid. You can leave and come back, and it remembers where you were, so a step like connecting Stripe does not make you start over.
- Welcome: a quick intro to how it works.
- Connect Stripe: set up payouts so your earnings can reach your bank. You need this done before the next step.
- Build your profile: add a display name so race directors and athletes can see who took the photo.
- Opportunity: get active by applying to an event or accepting an invite.
Finishing later
If you skip payout setup, a reminder to finish it stays on your account until it is done. Photos can start selling before payouts are connected, but connecting early means nothing is held up.
Once you are set up, see Finding and accepting work to get your first shoot.
