Uploading and curating your photos

Upload a full set of race photos, then hide any non-race frames from the public gallery.

Upload your photos

Open your event and go to the Photos tab. First pin where you were shooting from on the course, then drag and drop your JPEGs, or use Choose photos. Files can be up to 100 MB each.

After they upload, each photo is checked for quality, matched to athletes by bib number, watermarked, and added to the gallery. You will see each file move through its own status as it is processed, ending at Published. You can also add short race clips of up to 60 seconds.

To upload, you need a photographer account on PodiumBase. If you do not have one yet, the page offers to create a free one for you.

Go to the Gallery curation tab to tidy up what athletes see. This is for hiding frames that are not race photos, such as test shots or crowd frames. Turn on Show hidden frames if you want to see what is already hidden, add an optional note, and use Hide non-race frame or Restore frame on each photo.

Hiding is reversible and the original files are always kept, so nothing is deleted. Every decision is recorded. Curation controls what appears in the public gallery, not what exists on our side.
