Setting your course and schedule

Upload your route, list your distances, and add a race-day schedule and overview.

Upload your course

Open your event and go to the Course and schedule tab. Drag a route file into the upload area, or pick one from disk. You can use GPX, KML, or GeoJSON up to 2 MB. Once it uploads you see a preview, and you click Save course to keep it. If your event has more than one distance, you can set an event-wide route and let each distance override it.

Your course also lets coverage zones snap their pins to the real route, which makes setting up photographer coverage easier.

Add your distances

In the Race distances section, click Add distance and enter each distance you offer, such as 5K, 10K, or Half Marathon. Each row saves on its own, so you can build the list one at a time.

Add a race-day schedule

In the Race-day schedule section, add each item with a label and a time, using your event timezone. You can link an item to a specific distance if it only applies to that group.

Write an overview

The Event overview is a short, welcoming description for your race page. Write your own, or click Generate with AI to start from a draft and edit it. Click Save when you are happy. A closed event becomes read-only, so set these up before your event wraps.
